L'amour, c'est rien

Obsédée du pire (obsessed by the worst)
Et pas très prolixe (and not very prolix[1])
Mes moindres soupirs (my lesser sighs)
Se métaphysiquent... [2]
J'ai dans mon ciel (I've got in my sky)
Des tonnes de célestes (tons of stars[3])
M'accroche aux ailes... (grab to the wings)
Et tombe l'ange Gabriel! (then, fall the angel Gabriel)

Obsédée du pire (obsessed by the worst)
Un peu trop physique... (a bit too physical)
L'envie de frémir (the will for thrill)
Est pharaonique ! (is big as pharaohs)
...Fi de l'ascèse !(pooh! the ascetism [4])
Ma vie s'enténèbre (my life turns to darkness[5])
Moi sans la langue (me, without the tongue)
Sans sexe je m'exsangue ! (without sex I "bloodless"[6] myself

L'amour, c'est rien ! (love, it's nothing)
Quand c'est politiquement correct (when it's politically correct)
On s'aime bien (we love each other well)
On n' sait même pas quand on se blesse (we hardly know when we hurt each others)
L'amour c'est rien (love is nothing)
Quand tout est sexuellement correct (when it's polltically correct)
On s'ennuie bien (we're boring a lot)

On crie avant pour qu' ça s'arrête (we shout just before to make it stop)
La vie n'est rien... (life is nothing)
Quand elle est tiède ! (when it's lukewarm)
Elle se consume et vous bascule (it's burning and changes[7])
Le sang en cendres de cigarette (blood in cigarette ashes)
La vie est bien... (life is good)
Elle est de miel ! (it's sweet as honey)
Quand elle s'acide de dynamite (when it turns acid like dynamite
Qui m'aime me suive! (Come all ye faithful)

Obsédée du pire (
Et pas très prolixe
Mes moindres soupirs
Se métaphysiquent...(as the chorus before)
J'ai dans la tête (I've got in my head)
Des tonnes de pirouettes (a lot of pirouettes[8]
Le saut de l'ange (the swallow (or swan) dive)
N'a pour moi rien d'étrange (is nothing stange to me)

Obsédée du pire (odsessed by the worst)
Et pas très prolixe (and not very prolix)
Partager mes rires (share my laughters)
Plutôt plutoniques (more or less "plutonics"[9]
J'ai dans ma sphère (I've got in my envirronement [10])
Un effet de serre (a greenhouse effect)
Mon sang bouillonne (my blood is boiling)
Je bous de tout, en somme (finally, everything makes my boil)

[1] prolix (or verbose) means to have a rich vocabulary
[2] "métaphisiquent" here, Mylène use an adjective (métaphisique) and use it as a verb
[3] "célèstes" this here an adjective (céleste=celestial) used as a common name
[4] "ascetisme" is the fact of voluntary cutting yourself down from food and drink as do some Indian mystics (the most famous to do that was Buddha)
[5]"s'enténebrent" a totally invented verb made from "ténebre" it could also mean "turn into night"
[6]"exangue" here an other adjective freely used as a verb
[7] "bascule" the French verb "basculer" means to topple over, but in the context of the song ot means a brutal change
[8] "pirouettes" difficult to figure out what Mylène means here, probably she means "twisted thoughts"
[9] "plutonics" here a funny way to mix together "Pluto" the planet (well it's not really a planet blah bla blah...) and the adjectiv "platonic"
[10] "sphere" normally this word is equivalent to English as the geometrical object, on the other hand, it can be an environnement in a social context, in Mylène's world (which is a world appart;-)) she probably talks about her head.
